MUSIC IDEAS
This is something that we then went on to look at, by continuing to browse youtube.com.
We felt that this worked better with the genre, and really gave the impression of thriller and could fit well with our film, however compared to music taken out of Skins for example it compares to be style and genre very different, and if this really portrays a teenage out look as well as our target audience.

MUSIC IDEAS
We used Youtube.com to search and look at different types of music that could work well with our film.
This is one of our main ideas of our music behind our teaser trailer, we feel strongly about this fiting and having a great effect against our teaser trailer, and is something we will probally go on to use.
CLASSIFICATION
For our film and teaser trailer we decied to make the classification a 15.
We made this choice because of looking at the guidelines the overall nature of our film is much darker along with the detailed scenes of violence to follow in the finished film.

This is the guidelines taken from the BBFC for a 15 classification:
COLOURING THE FOOTAGE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE NIGHT
Using Final Cut, we turned all of our footage to look like it was shot at night, this gives the thriller feel and creates a more disturbing atmosphere as the audience is un able to see clearly, and it makes the whole emotion appear darker. It worked really well, and although it maybe doesnt look perfect it over all and genrally gives a night time look and feel.
PROPS
To make sure that we try to include the british theme through out our teaser and our film,
we chose to add just a few small props to make our set and surroundsing look more effective, and more realistic as a party/celebration. We used plastic cups, to imply that alcohol had been involved and this is a very typical convention with in a trashy teenage series or film.
We also made a broken down, sheet tent, this implys that the teenagers werent very bothered about keeping safe, no real plan to sleep, as well as creating the camping feel.
One of the main things we also used was a mobile phone, this is something very current and always something teenagers mostly have or spend there time texting, or phoning, this is just a small detail which helps to make the film seem more realistic and gives the audience something to relate to. It was also a key important part with in our narrative to invoving and bringing through the film title.

LOCATION
Due to only being able to film with in the grounds, we had to change a few of our ideas and shots. The forest, and dark tree areas we used were quite hard to try and grunge up as the grass and lawn is cut very neatly and proper, this doesnt follow and show our idea and setting of a camping trip in the woods.
However we worked with this area and then decied that our editing can help us to make our teaser follow our genre being thriller, and we can try and make the surroundings more darker and grunge up, by playing around with the contrast and colours.

SCRIPT AND DIALOGUE
Our teaser trailer is going to be very minmal, and we decided to open with dialogue set up in a interview room, and close with a very short key part in the dialogue which makes the ending dramtic, dynamic and hopfully makes the audience want to go to see the film.
The Script we have used is very simple and consists of only a few short but impacting lines:
Interviewer: Where were you on the night of the 12th of march 2011?
Girl: I was in the woods...
Interviewer: Who were you with?
Girl: My friends...
Interviewer: What were you doing?
Girl: I dont no...
Interviewer: Where are the others?
Girl: I dont no...
Interviewer: So...What is the last thing you remember?!?!
Girl: (pause)... 12.03...

FILM POSTER IDEAS
For our film poster we would like to do a montage of 2 or more images to create a unbalanced feel to capture the audience straight away.
An idea for what our main image would be of would be our female main character, you would no nessacerly see her face, but maybe just her figure, or a shot looking across the floor and you would have her bare feet (this linking in with clips from the teaser trailer, giving the audience a chance to reconize the character.) and maybe some thing representing a weapon or suggesting there has been a death.

STORY BOARD
This is a basic outline of our story board and what we plan to do with in the different scenes:
Scene 1:
News report, using editing and effects afterwards we will create a fuzz, out of focus, breaking up signal look over the top of the news report.
Scene 2:
Main character, set up in a interview room, documents on a table and she is sat up leaning with her hands in her head onto the table. High angle shot looking down at her, whilst the interview takes place, we dont see a police officer or any other member, just a voice over of a male asking her interview questions, we presume he is a police officer.
We might go on to add in small shots, showing different angles for example close up shot of her hands shaking, and her feet twitching.
Also we might intersept shots with flashbacks of scenes later on in a different scene.
Scene 3:
Flashbacks of the night, Camping with in the forest area, the location will have a plastic cups crumpled up on the floor spread out, and sheet drapped over a fencing making a tent area.
Different shots, taken with in different areas of the forest showing the main character running, screaming, hiding and acting slightly drunk.
Scene 4:
After the flash backs, focusing purly on getting the atmosphere across to the audience, trying to create a unsettaling, un easy, scared emotions , we are going to focus on closes ups.
Using the main character to run into/past the camera, really trying to capture the fear she feels.
Scene 5:
Focusing the introduction of the film title, 12.03, showing a clip of the alarm clock or phone showing the time set to 12.03.

RESEARCH INTO 24.
We looked at the series 24, because of the link between what we would like use as one of our shots.
The main theme of our teaser trailer is based around a girl not being able to remember after 12.03, as she is the only victem and suspect this is very important, and we dont get to find out why she remembers this time.
The series 24 has a simular theme like this and links in well with what we are trying to film and trying to create.
This is the logo for 24 and this is something we would like to try and re create with 12.03 maybe on a alarm clock or a phone, showing a link and importance of the time 12.03 through out the teaser trailer.

RESEARCH INTO IDEAS IN CURRENT FILMS
We looked at Hide and Seek, because of the ideas linking with our narrative.
Hide and Seek has many end scenes set in a forest at night, this is something we are planning to use as our main location, however we are going to use editing to be able to film in the day and have more control and then using effects to make the footage set at night.
Also in a small scene in this trailer it shows, flash backs showing a alarm clock at a certon time, this is something that is a key point through out the film, And is something that we are going to be using with in our teaser trailer as our film title and our a maini theme through out the trailer.

RESEARCH INTO INSPIRATION FOR IDEAS
This is a scene from skins taken from episode 8 series 3.
We wanted to look at Skins for some inspiration, as this episode is all set in the woods, and is based around teenagers going off on a camping trip into the woods, and believing they are being followed/attacked.
Skins is a great example for something with a British Theme, it is very over the top and typical sterotypes of british teenagers. This is something we would like to follow through in our own teaser trailer however not be as strong, and introduce a new side and subject being knife crime. Many series focusing on teenagers and their lifestyle are genrally trying to portray a very similar theme and atmosphere, this is something we dont want to copy but take a different side to it and create a intresting, dynamic teaser trailer.

Our initial idea's
- Very limited, not showing the audience to much information and detail
- Going against the typical conventions
- Horror
Starting Points
(what we now want to build up and begin to work with.)
We want to base our teaser around british youth, negative out look.
We started to work around the idea of having our opening with a news read, showing something along the lines of "Party Gone Wrong." It would go out of focus, and have a effect over to make the TV look like it is breaking, losing signal.
Then we would go into a interview set up showing the female main charater, using a highangle shot looking down on her, basicly showing she is vunrable. She would apper on her own in the interview room due to the angle of the shot cutting out the other side of the table. Might later add in voice over of male investigator.
Flash backs, wanting to show small clips of what happened. This would be where we would bring in our british theme around party or camping in the woods, as a celebration of world cup, someones birthday, something british to lead into our narrative.
The Flash backs would also go on to show the main theme for the Film Title: 12.03 which is the time, and the whole film is based around what happend after this time, and why people cant rememeber up untill this time, and after.
